What is included in a membership?
Your MazArt Academy membership gives you everything you need to learn how to create realistic, believable oil paintings using a clear, step-by-step method.
If you’re new to oils — or want to strengthen your skills — you can begin with the MazArt Foundation Course, which takes you from choosing your materials and preparing to paint through to completing your first realistic oil painting. Complete the Foundation and you’ll also have the opportunity to become a MazArt Foundation Graduate and earn your certificate.
From there, you’ll have full access to over 500 hours of real-time teaching, including complete painting projects across pets, portraits, landscapes, florals, still life and more, plus our structured beginner and intermediate Pet & Portrait courses.
You’ll also have access to live painting sessions and their recordings, and our private members-only community where you can share your work, ask questions and receive feedback directly from Marion.
Everything is hosted inside the Academy, including the community — so there’s no need to use Facebook.
There are no contracts, and you can cancel through your account at any time.
Can I pause my membership instead of cancelling?
Yes. If you need a short break, you can pause your membership for up to three months, rather than cancelling completely.
While paused, your access to the Academy is temporarily suspended, and you can reactivate your membership at any time if you’re ready to return sooner.
For monthly members, billing is paused until your membership resumes.
For annual members, pausing stops your membership from automatically renewing while you’re away. Your existing annual membership period continues to run, so we recommend considering this when choosing whether to pause.
Pausing is a useful option if you simply need some time away but would like to keep your membership in place and return without having to rejoin the Academy when enrolment reopens.
How do I cancel my membership?
You can cancel your membership at any time from My Account → Purchases. The Welcome Tour shows you exactly where to find this if you need a reminder.
Monthly memberships renew automatically each month. Simply cancel before your next renewal date if you don’t wish to continue. You’ll retain access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
Annual memberships renew once a year, and you’ll receive a reminder email 30 days before your renewal date. You can cancel at any time before renewal and will retain access until the end of your current annual membership.
Membership payments are non-refundable.
Please remember: once your membership ends, you’ll need to wait until the Academy next opens for enrolment if you decide you’d like to return.
Can I buy classes one at a time?
No — MazArt Academy is a complete learning membership, rather than a collection of individual courses for sale.
At the heart of the Academy is a clear, repeatable method for creating realistic, believable paintings. You’ll learn how to see and understand drawing, values, colour, edges and detail — then apply those principles across different subjects and paintings.
You can begin with the MazArt Foundation Course, work towards becoming a Foundation Graduate and earning your certificate, then continue developing your skills through structured courses and complete painting projects across pets, portraits, landscapes, florals, still life and more.
Your membership also includes live painting sessions, feedback from Marion and our private members-only community.
Everything is included as part of your membership because MazArt isn’t about collecting individual tutorials — it’s about learning a method you can take into your own paintings.
Can I use My Mobile Device?
Yes. You can access MazArt Academy on your computer, phone or tablet, so you can paint along wherever suits you.
You can also AirPlay to a compatible smart TV if you’d prefer to watch Marion’s demonstrations on a larger screen while you paint.
Your progress stays within your Academy account, making it easy to move between devices.
